Valle Gran Rey, is a beautiful municipality of La Gomera. From any of the apartments you can enjoy spectacular views of the valley, the rugged mountains and the sea. The location is very peaceful and we have an organic vegetable garden for the enjoyment of our customers.

Apartments "Goyo Gomera in Casa de la Seda is the ideal starting point for many spectacular hikes of varying difficulty. La Ermita de Los Reyes is a starting point for several of these trails.

- "El Guro" (Starting from Casa de La Seda): the waterfall in the Barranco de Arure idyllic but not always an easy hike.
- Ermita de Los Reyes -Calera-seafront: Get off the track on the eastern side of the bridge ravines in Calera and then proceeds to the five playas (beaches) of Valle Gran Rey.
- From El Cercado to Casa La Seda: An easy well defined path through the valley of Valle Gran Rey. Casa La Seda (by bus) to El Cercado (1030m), La Vizcaina (420m), Chele, Los Reyes, Casa de la Seda '(250m).
- “Casa La Seda” to “El Cercado”: Casa La Seda, Chele, La Vizcaina (420m), Los Descansaderos, El Cercado (1030m), (by bus) “Casa La Seda”
- Chipude to 'Casa La Seda': downhill all the way but requires some hikin experience and sure footing. 'Casa La Seda > (by bus) -> Chipude (1080m) -> La Matanza (780m) (-Ermita NS de Guadalupe (750m) ->' Ermita de Los Reyes' -> 'Casa La Seda' (250m ).
- Backpacking after Cercado (6:00h): Intense and challenging hike to the small pottery village of El Cercado. Casa La Seda' -> 'Los Reyes "-> Chele -> Hornillo ->' Higuera del Llano '->' El Cercado '(1030m) -> Guarchico -> NS Ermita de Guadalupe - ->' Ermita de Los Reyes '->' Casa La Seda '(250m).
- Hike to El Hornillo (not for the faint of heart)3:30h: Impressive but high altitude hike with great views of the Upper Valley. This challenging hike is vertigenous and only for the surefooted. 'Casa La Seda' -> 'Ermita de Los Reyes "-> max. height (658m) -> steep descent in the upper" Valle Gran Rey "part " El Hornillo' (400m) -> 'Ermita de Los Reyes' -> 'Casa La Seda'.
- The Barranco de Argaga (5:00h) Very difficult hike through the maze of rock that is the mountain of Argaga. Please note that this walk is considered dangerous! 'Casa La Seda' -'Ermita de Los Reyes "-> NS Ermita de Guadalupe (750m) -> Gerian (700m) -> Barranco de Argaga -> Playa de Argaga -> Vueltas (bus stop outside La Dolce Vita restaurant) - bus at 14:30 or 6:30 p.m. (Sunday 16.30) after 'Casa La Seda.

Valle Gran Rey offers five different beaches for sunbathing and swimming:

- La Puntilla (opposite the Hotel Gran Rey)
- La Playa (Between the beach promenade and the famous "Casa Maria" Here you can discover the spectacular sunsets often accompanied by demonstrations of street performers (drums and juggling))
